Cotton Chindi Durries / Rugs
These Durries are made from scraps of cotton fabrics picked up from various garment or other stitching units in bulk. These are shredded into small strips and woven. Women folks generally do the weaving. It is like home industry for many women in small areas big cities or smaller cities. These are all hand crafted by the women folks. The trimmings are are done here and there before these washed and finished for use. These Durries have restricted length. No child labor is involved in the making of these Durries.
